1. Original paintings and drawings completed in the past two years and not previously shown at the Northwest Washington Fair are eligible. All work must be signed by the artist.
2. Entries must be suitably framed and equipped with screw eyes and wire for hanging. No saw-tooth hangers. All paint and varnish must be dry. Watercolors and drawings must be under glass. Computerized work will not be accepted.
3. The department reserves the right to reclassify entries deemed improperly classified, select and eliminate work to be exhibited, and reject work for any reason such as size, fragility, inappropriateness to the Fair, or infringement of rules.
4. Exhibitors may make one entry only.
5. No entry fees will be required and no free admission will be issued.
6. Entries will be received in the Art building from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday before the Fair. Judging will take place Saturday before the Fair at 10 a.m. The Art Dept. is closed to the public during judging.
7. Entries will be released Sunday following the Fair between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
8. The judge will be an artist, or teacher, or critic of established reputation in the field of art.
9. No art work shall be advertised or priced for sale.
